Rates & MSP Pricing
Our managed support plan is a small monthly fee for each computer we look after, plus one fee for your office network. It covers the tools that keep each device safe and backed up, and the everyday support work that keeps your office running. Anything new, like a new server, an office move or a migration, is quoted to you up front as a project, so you know the price before any work starts.
What it costs
Device Package: $7.75 per computer, per month. The protection every workstation and server gets: remote support, backup, VPN, DNS filtering, UniFi network management and antivirus.
Support, per month:
- Workstation Support: $28.60 per workstation
- Server Support: $52.00 per server
- Network Support: $65.00 for your office network
Example: a 10-person office
- 10 workstations: 10 × ($7.75 + $28.60) = $363.50
- 1 server: $7.75 + $52.00 = $59.75
- Office network: $65.00
Total: $488.25 a month, about $49 per person. Managed IT plans in the Puget Sound area commonly run $110 to $200 per user per month.

- Operating system updates, and minor updates to servers on the plan
- Onsite image backups, and restoring from them
- Email, remote connection and Microsoft Office support
- Yearly upgrades of your line-of-business software
- Adding and removing users on covered computers
- Security training and ongoing security maintenance
- Business Technology Reviews
- JohnsonCN phone system support
- Moving to solid-state drives
- Network device and internet provider support
- Installing and maintaining an onsite backup server
- IT asset management
- Recycling old IT hardware and equipment
Quoted separately, as projects
- Setting up something new: a new server, a major server upgrade or a migration (for example Windows Server 2012 R2 to 2022)
- Adding or removing computers
- Hardware and software purchases
- Work on software that is out of support
- Monthly phone and other system fees
- Recovering from a data breach
- Personal devices, and devices without JohnsonCN backup
Projects and hourly work
Work outside the plan, and support for offices not on a plan, is billed by the hour:
- IT support: $71.25 an hour. Computer upgrades, Windows and Mac support, software installation and support, Wi-Fi upgrades, network security, general troubleshooting and more.
- Development: $95 an hour. Website design and development, application development and database development.
No minimum charge, but we do bill travel time.
